Growing up in the intense spotlight of fame took its toll on pop star, Demi Lovato, causing the talented young singer to cope with her highly public life through alcohol and drug abuse. After multiple close calls, she now curbs her addictions through a lifestyle she calls “California sober.”
But…what does that mean, exactly?

In October of 2009, MTV was set to release a new reality show called “Gone Too Far,” starring world renowned disc jockey – and former drug addict – DJ AM attempting to help addicts by co-hosting interventions with their family members.
All that changed when DJ AM’s body was found in his New York apartment in the aftermath of a fatal overdose.
