Hank, the office boss, worried that his employees didn’t give him enough respect. Pondering what could be done about the situation, he settled upon an idea guaranteed to work.
The next day, Hank brought in a big sign that read, “I’m the Boss.” He taped it to his door where everyone could see it.
After lunch, Hank noticed Dylan had stuck a Post It Note to his sign. It read, “Your wife called. She wants her sign back, pronto!”
Respect and authority doesn’t come from posting signs; they come from living our lives in a worthy manner.
