After spending time with Eve, Adam took a stroll with God through the Garden of Eden. Adam expressed his tremendous gratitude to God for giving him such an admirable – and beautiful – partner. Adam told God how blessed he was to have her in his life.
But he had a few questions for God.
“Lord, Eve is so beautiful. Tell me, why did you make her so beautiful?
“So you would always want to look at her, and her alone.”
“Lord, her skin is so soft. Why did you make her skin so soft?”
“So you will always want to touch her,” replied God.
“Lord, she always smells so good. Why did you make her smell so good?”
“So you will always want to be near her, of course!” chuckled God.
“That’s great, Lord… and I don’t want to seem rude…but why did you make her so stupid?”
“So she would love you.”
