OK, somebody needs to knock some sense into boxer, Floyd Mayweather.
During the summer of 2010, Mayweather electronically circulated a picture of himself wearing an iPod around his neck…an iPod that cost $50,000!
That’s right. The boxer, whose nickname is actually “money,” blew large stacks of it on an iPod that is protected by a platinum case which happens to be studded with multiple diamonds.
Commenting on his “investment,” Mayweather unabashedly claimed (sic), “Traveling with my 5OK diamond I-pod. Any artist in my i-pod is platinum anyway thanx to the case…Lol”.
Just in case you’re wondering, during the summer of 2010, $50,000 could also have bought:
50,000 double cheeseburgers at Burger King.
334 iPod Nanos…minus any diamonds, of course.
909 pairs of shoes (or 1,818 if bought from Tom).
201,860 Silly Bandz.
