Dylan wasn’t getting good grades. Maybe it was his short attention span. Maybe it was because he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. Maybe it was a combination of the two. Regardless, his grades didn’t float; they weren’t above “C level.”
In response to his predicament, Dylan surprised the teacher one morning as he walked into class. He politely tapped her on the shoulder and calmly said, “I don’t want to scare you, but my daddy says if I don’t get better grades, somebody is going to get a spanking.”
