As promised, Jessica brought her new boyfriend, Dylan, by the house to meet her parents on Friday evening. When they opened the front door, mom and dad weren’t exactly thrilled by the young man standing on their doorstep.
Dylan was wearing a pair of ripped jeans with an untucked shirt covered up by a black leather jacket…and plenty of tattoos…and piercings.
Later that night, Jessica’s parents confessed their disapproval of Dylan. In an attempt to be gentle, Jessica’s dad said, “Jess, he’s not exactly the all-American boy you’ve dated in the past. Wardrobe aside, he’s not exactly a nice young man.”
“Seriously, Dad?” asked Jessica incredulously. “If he wasn’t a nice guy, why would he be doing 500 hours of community service?”
