Let’s face it, men like to think they know more than women…especially when it comes to manly things like sports, grilling, and car repair.
But every once in a while, men are proved wrong by the intelligent women in their lives.
A woman nervously walked into the living room where her husband was sitting in his Lazy Boy watching TV. With worry in her voice she said, “The car won’t start, honey. I think there’s water in the carburetor.”
This got her husband’s attention. “How do you know?” he asked incredulously. “You don’t even know what a carburetor is!”
This did nothing to suppress the woman’s intensity. “I’m telling you,” repeated the wife, “I’m sure there’s water in the carburetor.”
“We’ll just see about that,” mocked her husband as he rose up from his comfortable chair. In an even gruffer voice, he asked, “Where’s the car?”
“In the swimming pool.”
