1 Timothy 2:4 says, “God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” This verse doesn’t require much interpretation; it just states a simple fact. However, if we’re honest, it’s the elementary realities that can sometimes elude us. With that said, here is a short list of people God wants to save:
God wants Muslims to be saved.
God wants Hindus to be saved.
God wants Jews to be saved.
God wants cult members to be saved.
God wants atheists to be saved.
God wants Satanists to be saved.
God wants human traffickers to be saved.
God wants drug dealers to be saved.
God wants abortionists to be saved.
God wants terrorists to be saved.
God wants murderers to be saved.
God wants cheating pickleball players to be saved.
God wants violent dictators to be saved.
God wants alcoholics and addicts to be saved.
God wants false teachers to be saved.
God wants pornographers to be saved.
God wants racists, sexists, and bigots to be saved.
God wants Democrats – and Republicans – to be saved.
When the Bible says God wants all people to be saved…it means God wants all people to be saved!
